exa/sqlite/autoconv

Source   Edit

This module provides the auto-converters used by the sqlite.nim module. it's here because it's quite frankly a lot of boring boilerplate that needs to be there or else the user won't have a good experience.

But it really is nothing but dull code that must exist, so I don't wanna lump it in with the main sqlite.nim module and confuse users.

If you're here, and confused, then don't worry about this. This just makes exa a nicer library to use!

Procs

proc toDbValue[T: bool](v: T): DbValue

This procedure is used to implicitly convert booleans to their "database value" counterparts, so they they can be easily used in exec, iterate and other database functions.

You do not need to worry about this.

proc toDbValue[T: seq[byte]](v: T): DbValue

This procedure is used to implicitly convert byte sequences (byte lists) to their "database value" counterparts, so that they can be easily used in exec, iterate and other database functions.

You do not need to worry about this.

proc toDbValue[T: SomeFloat](v: T): DbValue

This procedure is used to implicitly convert floating point numbers to their "database value" counterparts, so that they can be easily used in exec, iterate and other database functions.

You do not need to worry about this.

proc toDbValue[T: SomeInteger](v: T): DbValue

This procedure is used to implicitly convert normal integers to their "database value" counterparts, so that they can be easily used in exec, iterate and other database functions.

You do not need to worry about this.

Source   Edit
proc toDbValue[T: string](v: T): DbValue

This procedure is used to implicitly convert strings to their "database value" counterparts, so that they can be easily used in exec, iterate and other database functions.

You do not need to worry about this.

Source   Edit
proc toDbValue[T: type(nil)](v: T): DbValue

This procedure is used to implicitly convert the nil value to its "database value" counterpart, so that it can be easily used in exec, iterate and other database functions.

You do not need to worry about this.
